As a branch of Church Mobilization, Community Ministries is all about meeting people where they live, from apartment communities to living rooms. We're sending follow up teams to just about every person we meet.
Grab a friend — or a small group — and join us as we bring hope to our community!
51% of HEB lives in multi-family housing or apartments. Clubhouse KiDs is a Bible-based club for kids who live in apartment communities, leading them to an understanding of what it means to have a relationship with God and how to live that out daily.
Adult groups meet in homes or other neighborhood locations to discuss a variety of topics including the Bible, ESL, Job Skills and Family, Marriage and Parenting Relationships, as well as other topics. If you're interested in hosting or being a part of a group, please let us know!
If your church, student or college group is looking for a life-changing mission opportunity, we can help! Groups of Middle School, High School and College Students are trained in a variety of missional endeavors and have the opportunity to serve the needs of the community right here in the Mid-Cities.
From block parties to other small and large gathering events, Community Ministries is working hard to build positive community in our city, by getting people outside of their homes to interact with their neighbors. Find out more about our next gathering and how you can be involved.
Ministry leaders, both professional and non-professional gather the first Thursday of each month around the lunch table to discuss various topics of city transformation. Come hear about how you can have a positive impact on your community.
We provide training for churches and other groups to share the gospel, engage in discipleship, plant churches and become more missionally focused. Partner with us today to make your church or group better focused on the great commission.
READY TO GET INVOLVED?
We have many opportunities that are just waiting on someone who will say “Yes, I’ll help.” We will train you; all you have to do is to be willing. Take a look at the map below. The points are where we have an immediate need. Contact Chad Johnston if you are interested: email@example.com or 817-868-7400
We also could use your financial support for Community Ministries. Please consider making a gift that will enable us to impact more communities and reach more people.
