As the dust settles on the Night of Wonder, and all of the last gifts, Christmas Meal Boxes and Turkeys make their way home, we want to share with you some of the experiences of this amazing event.

I've come to learn though, that Miracles are not events, but chain reactions....who knows what will happen next or where all this will lead next?  I just know that 1000's of lives have been impacted, both in receiving, and giving.

I wanted to share with you the some of the thoughts about Night of Wonder from Carolyn C. Marshall, HR/Risk Administrator for the City of Euless.  What an incredible job she did and the City of Euless employees to help us create the Night of Wonder...what a blessing.

The City of Euless was pleased to be a part of Six Stones’ Night of Wonder project.  With departments across the City participating, we adopted 17 families including 72 children.  The “joy of giving” was evident as we watched the Christmas Spirit come alive in our employees.  They brought in the gifts and food excitedly, showing their purchases to co-workers and expressing their hopes the children would be pleased with their choices.  Each gift was chosen with a lot of love and care for “their” unknown child. 

We loaded up three SUVs to the “rafters” and delivered them.  The gifts and food boxes covered the floor of the front offices at New Hope.  It was fun to be a part of that process and I have to admit we all felt a bit like Santa. 

It’s a huge undertaking to coordinate and execute a project of this size and we’d like to express our thanks to Six Stones for taking this on.  Special thanks go to Melba Carmona and Susan Shahan who so patiently answered a multitude of questions with great patience.

We appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the Night of Wonder and look forward to doing it again next year.Thank you Carolyn and City of Euless...I don't think the HEB ISD will let us NOT do this again next year.
