Focus on our Hope
We may be separated but COVID-19 is bringing all of us together.
Within a matter of weeks, a virus swept in and took away everything you thought was normal. But somehow amid chaos, you do what you always do, you look for hope. You focused on your faith and we focused on helping our community by fulfilling an immediate need for a growing problem.
Our campus is now filled with 10 volunteers delivering hope to a sea of cars with families desperate to receive it.
Fill Me Up
Over the past few weeks, things have changed, and our numbers have risen. More and more families are showing up in our parking lot looking at us to ease their fears and fill their hearts and stomachs. Your time and donations have helped us fill their cars with school supplies, food, prayer, and love. More than just resources we've given these families hope.
Volunteers like the Green family have given families a feeling of community while praying over them and fulfilling their immediate needs.
“Some of the people that have come through are regulars while some are completely new…These are really difficult times for everyone in the community. It's important for us to come together, join hands, make a difference and walk with Jesus in a big way.”
No, Ma'am… it's Free.
After a few hours of distributing emergency food bags, one of our volunteers Chuy came across an incredible neighbor.
” I met a lady who came to get food and she thought that we were selling it. I told her that the food is free… She said well, I want to donate $10, she was on the webpage and donated. It is great to see the community, how they are involved, and they are not just coming and asking but they are taking and blessing others.”
That is 6 Stones, we turn despair into hope and your need into a blessing.
” We are making sure our community is taken care of by giving them food, school supplies, a lot of prayers, and a lot of love. So many people are still very anxious, and we are giving them information straight from God to their hearts so they will be comforted and have strength and determination to make it through as a community.”
Help us continue to pour into our neighbors with prayers, love, supplies, food and more. Join our 20for20 challenge by giving $20 every month in the year 2020. You can become a Catalyst of Hope today by visiting www.6stones.org/give
