Mark Skinner


Mark Skinner grew up in Euless, is a graduate of Trinity High School, and earned a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington.  He has spent the majority of his professional career in the commercial real estate industry. Over a 36-year period he has held numerous leadership roles within that business, as well as in the non-profit arena.  Mark has been a member of Cross City Church, formerly First Baptist Euless, for over 50 years, and is currently teaching a young married couples’ class, in addition to serving on a variety of church committees.

Mark was a Colleyville City Council member from 2003-2005, and remains very politically active in Tarrant County.  He and his wife, Valerie, are long-time residents of Colleyville, where they have raised their four adult children.  They are now enjoying their role as the doting grandparents of Charlie, Dorothy and Rose.

Shannon Fisher

Vice Chairman

Shannon Fisher serves as the Sr. Director, Foundation Relations and Grants, for Texas Health Resources. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University, and a master of science in healthcare administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Shannon is an active member of Gateway Church and serves on the board of the Junior League of Dallas and is co-chair of the community investment cabinet for United Way of Tarrant County. Shannon lives in Bedford with her husband, Roger, where they are raising their three boys. Shannon and Roger are both graduates of Trinity High School and feel blessed to give back to a community where they were raised.

Ernie Flores


Ernie is proud to contribute to community-building efforts here in the great State of Texas. An alumnus of Texas A&M University, he has been the Franchise Operator of the Euless Chick-Fil-A (Glade) since 2002, and began serving as the Operator Consultant for the UTA campus location in 2013. He and his wife, Cristina, have four wonderful children: Eva, Vivana, EJ, and Benicio.

Cindy Jones


Cindy Jones is a marketing and brand strategies expert with more than 25 years experience in communications and project management through a variety of industries, including health insurance, hospitals, travel and non-profit organizations. Cindy is the CEO of CJTX Consulting, a boutique firm that specializes in rebranding, including LinkedIn, resume and career consultation. In addition, Cindy is currently the Sales/Marketing & Operations Manager at the American College of Emergency Physicians in Irving. Cindy has a masters degree in Public Relations and Business Communications from Abilene Christian University and a bachelors degree in Psychology and Pre-Law from Hardin Simmons University. Her special interests include Texas wines, travel, civic leadership & community volunteerism. Cindy and her husband Gary live in Grapevine, TX and have two grown daughters, Audra & Olivia. Cindy is an active member of Cross City Church in Euless. 

Trasa Cobern


Trasa Cobern is a mom and a wife, a teacher of history, a City Councilmember and a firm believer in Jesus Christ.  She spent her formative years as an Army dependent in Germany, which gave her a unique perspective to see America from both the inside and the outside.  She attended Texas A&M on a full academic scholarship, and met her husband Kyle there, who is from the HEB area.  They have four teenage sons and are members of Good Shepherd Catholic Community, where Trasa serves on several ministries.  As a Hurst Councilmember and Trinity High School teacher, she has seen firsthand the immense difference 6Stones makes in this community!

Dianna Booher

Dianna Booher is the author of 47 books (Penquin Random House, Simon & Schuster, McGraw-Hill), published in 60 foreign-language editions. As CEO of Booher Research, a communication consulting firm, and keynote speaker, she has worked with more than one-third of the Fortune 500 to help them communicate their messages clearly. Dianna has earned some of the highest recognitions in her industry:

  • Speaker Hall of Fame  (induction by the National Speakers Association)

She holds a MA in English from the University of Houston. She and husband Vernon are active members at First Baptist, Euless, where they serve in several ministries.

Steve Chapman


Steve Chapman is the Superintendent of Schools for the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District.  Steve began his educational career as a classroom teacher in 1984 and has held various administrative positions at the campus and central office.  He is the past president of the Texas Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (TxASCD) and serves as an instructor for their Curriculum Leadership Academy.  In addition to his work with TxASCD, Steve has served on the Legislative Council for the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development.  Steve has been both a state and national presenter at educational conferences and is a member of several state and national associations, including District Management Council, American Association of Schools Administrators, and the Texas Association of School Administrators.  He, his wife Tanga and their two sons are active members of the First Baptist Church of Hurst.

Josh Hobbs

Josh has spent close to 30 years exposed to or actively working at Dalworth Restoration and its sister company, Dalworth Clean. He has literally “grown up in the family business,” accompanying his father on work sites as far back as he can remember. Hobbs began working full time at Dalworth Restoration in 1996 upon graduation from High School. After starting as a carpet cleaning and water mitigation technician at Dalworth, he eventually moved into project management and he currently is an Executive Manager who oversees all Sales and Admin.

Gary McPherson

Gary retired from Lockheed Martin in 2013 as Vice President – Human Resources for the Missiles & Fire Control Business Area. He has over 40 years of business leadership experience in human resources, strategy, and organizational development. He is currently an executive professor at the University of Texas – Arlington and provides customized coaching and HR consulting services to organizations and individuals.

In addition to being a certified executive coach and mediator, Gary has served as a volunteer for several faith-based and community organizations in the DFW Area, Florida, and Canada. He also mentors college students and faculty at TCU, SMU, Texas A&M, UTA, etc.

He holds a BA in education/history from Taylor University (Upland, Indiana). An MS in instructional technology from Southern Illinois University, as well as Texas State certification in Mediation/Conflict Resolution from Southern Methodist University.

Gary is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Human Capital Institute, and regularly participates in several HR executive and leadership forums.

Gary and his wife, Heather, have been married 45 years and have two sons and two grandsons

Robert White

Robert is the Lead Pastor of Freedom Church in Bedford, TX.  Prior to Freedom Church, Robert served as the Youth/Young Adult Pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, TX.  He is married to his High School sweetheart Marisha, and they have two daughters, Makenzie and Makayla.  Robert studied Business Administration at California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) and is currently pursuing an M.Div. from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University.

Chris Foy

Chris is retired from a 38 year career in the Pharmaceutical industry.  He served in various roles, including VP Sales at Glaxo and SkinMedica, and being part of the senior leadership teams.  He is married to Susan, now for 38 years.  They have 5 children who are all grown, Clark, Melissa, Allyson, Chad and Cameron.  Chris received his Business Administration degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University.  He currently serves in a volunteer role as a Hope Builder in the New Hope part of 6 Stones.

Eldon Metzger

Eldon is a Senior Program Manager at Bell and joined the company in September of 2017. Prior to his time at Bell, Eldon retired as a Colonel from the USMC with 27 years of experience. His tours covered land and sea duties, leadership roles in the US and abroad, the Pentagon, and culminated as the Program Manager for the USN/USMC Tactical Unmanned Systems Program. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Test Pilot School and went to Pennsylvania State University.  He is married to the love of his life Jennifer, and they have three boys, Luke, David, and Jonathan.  Eldon and Jennifer attend First Baptist Keller with their boys.

Russel Simpler

Russell is currently the Managing Partner at Smith Lawn and Tree, one of the leading landscape companies in the metroplex. He began his career in the Landscape Industry at an early age and then continued on that path where he received his degree in Horticultural Business from Tarleton State University.  Russell resides in Colleyville and is married to his wife Jennifer and they have 3 boys.  They have been members at Cross City Church for several years and Russell has served in many facets there including playing the drums on Sunday during their main worship service.

Wil Theisen

Wil is the Director of Retirement Plans for BNSF Railway. He grew up near Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, Minnesota with a degree in math education. He taught in the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD for four years before entering the actuarial consulting business, and later transitioned to BNSF.

Wil and his wife Lisa live in Bedford, and have been members at Cross City Church in Euless since 1994. They have one grown child in Kansas City, one in college, and one at home.

Kim Campbell

Kim is Senior Manager, Customer Advocacy at TXU Energy. She manages the energy assistance programs at TXU Energy, as well as advocates on behalf of low-income Texans. For over 20 years, Kim has worked in the utility industry providing hands-on assistance for their customers. She holds a BBA in Marketing from Dallas Baptist University.

Ellen Jones

Ellen Jones and her husband, Brad, have been married since 1981 and have lived in the HEB area since
1982. They are members of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and have raised two daughters through the
HEB schools. Their oldest is married with 2 lovely granddaughters, and they youngest just purchased her
first home in Bedford.

Ellen received her Bachelor in Chemistry/Math from UT Austin and later earned her MBA from Texas
Tech University. Professionally she has been a secondary teacher, a commercial real estate banker,
youth minister and volunteer in the community. She served 16 years on the HEB school board and
continues her volunteer work with the district as the treasurer of the HEB Education Foundation. She
has also been a 27 year volunteer with United Way of Tarrant County and is currently serving on their
Community Investment Cabinet. Other interests have led her to serve as the Funds VP for the women’s
group, AAUW Northeast Branch, and secretary of the Euless Library Foundation. She is a long time
volunteer at her church in the areas of youth, homelessness, and lecturing. Her favorite pastime is
playing with her granddaughters, reading, travelling, and pondering her second book!

Jon McKenzie

Jon McKenzie is the Family and Outreach Minister at Bridgewood Church of Christ in Fort Worth.  He and his wife Brianne have been married since 2004 and have two children, Avery and Claire. Jon received a degree in Mass Communications from Texas Wesleyan University and a Masters in Strategic Leadership from the University of Dallas.  Jon values community service and is currently serving as a member of the Hurst City Council, mentor for Read2Win in the Fort Worth ISD, and advisory board member for several non-profit organizations.

Mary Nelson

Mary is a college student studying Business Administration and Financial Planning at Liberty University. Her goal is to pursue a career in the investment banking, financial, and real estate industries. Currently, she is an Executive Assistant at Divergent Properties, a small real estate investing company. She enjoys photography and recently started a recipe blog with her twin sister, Claire ( She is the oldest of six children and loves spending time with her family.

Rasheen Sinclair

Rasheen is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. Rasheen graduated from Hiram in 2001 with a degree in Management. He has spent 20 years working in sales and finance in different industries from banking and investments to automotive. He is married to his lovely wife, Crystal with one son and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys creating fused glass art.
