New Hope Center expands hours

New Hope Center has undergone a complete make-over – new paint, new carpet, new furniture, and new room arrangements. Prior to June1, the center was open one day a week meeting the needs of an average of 15-45 families per week.

Beginning June 1 the center opened an additional three days per week (10 extra hours per week) with additional changes. We were challenged to be intentional about sharing Christ with our clients. So on June 1 we began a new journey to see what God could do if we gave Him time to work within the hearts of our clients. The first 30 minutes of our day were a bit hectic, but we managed to share Christ with 45 clients resulting in 6 professions of faith by the end of the day. (By the way, currently we only have two counselors who are sharing with our clients.) We were tired but praising God for what He did that day. Isn’t amazing what God can do when we move out of the way?

It's amazing what you can do with teamwork and focus

This weekend was the ER Summer Tour. Check out some pictures on our picture gallery (day 1,day 2) or visit the 6 Stones facebook page.

The Euless Revitalization – Summer Tour is exactly that! It’s been a massive effort of coordination and planning all focused on one weekend, with a big goal (that actually grew due to the interest in the project).

15 houses were tackled all across the city of Euless. With an impressive team of churches, businesses and other organizations:

Euless Revitalization Summer Tour

In an unprecedented effort of teamwork and volunteerism, 450 volunteers have pledged to help revitalize 15 homes over two days through the Euless Revitalization program. On June 19 and 20, 6 Stones Mission Network , DW Redo and the City of Euless will partner with local churches and businesses to make a dramatic impact in Euless.

The newly formed 6 Stones Mission Network, a non-profit ministry focusing on compassion ministries to the community, will provide funding and DW Redo, a local home remodeling company, will provide the project planning and volunteer coordination. In addition, volunteers of all ages, skill levels, and knowledge will lend their neighbors a much needed helping hand with their homes.
