Dr. Pepper StarCenter Euless presents free event – Toy Story 3
Saturday, August 18 at 5pm the Dr. Pepper StarCenter Euless is hosting a free benefit ice show. Toy Story 3 will feature US National Ladies Silver Medalist Ashley Cain, US National competitors Anthony Evans and Victoria Lorusso, Nick Traxler and Kristen Nardozza, and Canadian National competitors Nick Jessionek and Jazz Molly SMYL.
You are invited to a free public skate with the cast after the show!
Proceeds from the show will be donated to Operation Back2School.
The show is FREE to all families and friends. Donations will be accepted at the door to help HEB students. The skaters and coaches have been working together to put this show together. Kids helping other kids in need…that is what it is all about! Every year we have put together a show to help support a cause we feel is close to our hearts. $20.00 covers the cost of a backpack and school supplies for HEB ISD students in need.
Three years ago our skaters were asked to choose a local charity to be the recipient of funds generated through a benefit ice show. We wanted to find something that benefits children because the skaters loved the idea of helping other kids. When we found 6 Stones just down the road from our ice rink, we knew we had found the right fit. Since our summer show takes place in August, just before school starts, we felt it would be a great time to draw attention to the need for school supplies for economically disadvantaged children, hence our involvement with Operation Back2School. In addition to holding a food drive for 6 Stones, we have also donated the proceeds of our winter holiday show to the organization.
Our skaters have been touched by their involvement with 6 Stones and Operation Back2School through service performed at your facility. They have enjoyed time spent packaging Christmas dinners and putting together school supplies and backpacks. Not only has it been an excellent team-building exercise, but it has also opened their eyes to the needs of other children in our midst.

I am attending this special event and my daughter is very excited to watch an Olympic Athlete because this is the first year she watched the Olympic events. Trinity is 6yr old and this will be a wonderful event to attend. Thanks for sponsoring 6Stones and joining us tonight at the Dr. Pepper center.
