Mayor Jim Griffin of the City of Bedford has issued a challenge to the mayors of Euless and Hurst.

On October 5 of 2012 beginning at 8am, 6 Stones will be having its inaugural Sporting Clays tournament and fundraising event at Alpine Shooting Range.

Mayor Griffin has challenged each mayor to compile a team of four shooters and compete in this fundraising effort.

6 Stones will award the 1st traveling trophy to the winning Mayor and his (her) city.

“It is my intention that the City of Bedford will win the traveling trophy and proudly display it for all of the citizens of Bedford to see. In addition, it is my desire that our friendly competition will act to stimulate interest in the 6 Stones organization throughout the cities of Hurst, Euless and Bedford.” said Mayor Griffin.

All funds raised at this event will go to help 6 Stones fulfill its mission.

You can shoot sporting clays & support 6 Stones too!
