Operation Back 2 School – giving the smiles back
As we began preparing for Operation Back 2 School and the invited families were confirming their participation, we received an interesting phone call.
Renee called to thank us. She informed us that her family had a rough year in 2011 and was grateful for the help. When things started to fall, when they were looking for hope, they found 6 Stones.
After a year of job insecurity, her family is now back on their feet. The call was to tell us she no longer needed the assistance, but wanted to know how to be involved. After seeing how the backpacks & supplies changed her kids last year, Renee has donated $20 on behalf of each of her kids.
Renee is impatiently waiting for OB2S. This year she's “giving the smiles back.”
